The Presidency Tribe

Listen up Bangaloreans, it’s finally fest season! You know what that means right? Tons of colleges, dozens of platforms and a plethora of talent are going to be witnessed around Bangalore for the next month or so.

To kick start the college hop, Carmel PU College, Basaveshwarnagar conducted its fest Rendezvous yesterday. With nearly 40 colleges participating, the rat race was intense. Presidencians bagged prices in photography and tattoo art.

The list of events was nearly endless. From cookery to rangoli, tattoos to painting, dance and music, acapella groups and salsa dancers, hip hop and fusion, the number of participants was breathtaking.

Mount Carmel naturally graced the ramp with their ravishing outfits and makeup, but our team was no sore sight. With tribal and western fusion as our theme, the models were striking in bold animal prints and tribal attires.

With lots of laughter and memories made with the fashion team, we moved on to the dance team.

The girls were pumped with energy and style. Everyone were too busy to click quality pictures so only the backstage pictures are available. While we didn’t specifically win the main events, it was a good taste of what to expect for the upcoming fests.

Next fest venue: MLA Girls’ College, Malleshwaram.
